About Budsistant

Useful information.
Checkable sources.

Budsistant is being built as a cannabis travel and information hub for adults 21 and older. This early review includes calculator tools, sourced state-law summaries, representative directories, and selected North Carolina and New York legislative records.

Our source process

Law summaries link to official regulators, statutes, or legislative records and show when the sources were reviewed. A review date describes our source check; it is not a guarantee that every applicable rule has been researched.

Changes should be flagged for review before a summary is updated. Introduced bills, chamber passage, enactment, effective dates, and actual retail opening dates must remain distinct.

Calculations

The VPD calculator uses the saturation-pressure equation in FAO Irrigation and Drainage Paper 56, chapter 3. The reference range is editable and is not a universal cultivation recommendation.

Electricity estimates use equipment power, operating time, and your entered price per kWh. The U.S. Energy Information Administration explains the relationship between watts, time, and energy. The starting rate is an editable example, not a verified local tariff.

Measurement conversions use definitions from NIST Handbook 44, Appendix C. The water converter uses the 500 and 700 display factors described by Hanna Instruments. PPM results are conductivity-based estimates; they do not identify substances, measure individual concentrations, or establish water safety.

The water log records your observations without providing target ranges or adjustment recommendations. Website inputs are temporary; export the water log before leaving. See Privacy for details.

Help shape the next version

Take a few minutes to explore, then send your notes to the person who shared Budsistant with you.

  1. Choose a state, check a linked official source, and find its representative lookup.
  2. Try a unit conversion or an electricity estimate with sample numbers. Is the result easy to understand?
  3. Add a sample water reading and export the CSV. Remember that readings clear when you reload or leave the page.

What would bring you back? Where did you get stuck? What would you use next: improved tools, lodging, events, or something else?

What comes next

The website is an early review version. App downloads, additional resource sections, and a content-management connection are not available yet.
